The steak was generous in size and cooked to perfection. The broccoli was outstanding, and the mashed potatoes were incredibly flavorful. Cara had the gorgonzola pasta with grilled chicken, which was delightful too. I enjoyed a delicious citrus-flavored martini. The atmosphere and service were excellent! This is a perfect spot for a dinner date with your significant other or loved one.
I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon this hidden gem that I've walked by countless times without noticing! This charming restaurant offers a stunning atmosphere, an impressive wine selection, and dishes that transport you abroad with every bite. I can't wait to return and explore more items and wines on the menu! Brandon, the owner, and our server Kimberly provided exceptional service. A big thank you to Jennifer L. Collins for the recommendation!
The atmosphere here is wonderful, with high ceilings, glass accents, and carefully designed lighting that creates a stylish and comfortable ambiance. The seating is cozy, and the background music adds to the overall inviting vibe. The decor is fresh, clean, and embodies a classy bistro style. Who doesn't appreciate fresh flowers on the table? The exposed brick walls and decorative tin ceiling with practical pipe vents subtly provide heating and air conditioning, enhancing the experience further. Dining here truly transports you to another place, but the real highlight is the food and drinks. As someone dining alone, I was delighted to find a variety of half bottles of exquisite wines, both local and imported, on the menu. Since I enjoy two glasses with dinner, having freshly opened bottles instead of just standard by-the-glass or full-bottle options is a real treat. I opted for a half bottle of a luscious Brunello and the house Cioppino, which made my evening unforgettable. I finished with a delectable slice of olive oil cake paired with Graham's 20-Year-Old Tawny Port. Before leaving, I was so impressed that I made another reservation for the next day's service, just to reassure myself that my wonderful experience wasn't merely a dream.
I don't hand out 5 star reviews often and this time I'd give 6 stars if possible to Citrone in Redlands. Last night's dinner was exceptional and the service was stupendous. The ambiance inside is cozy and intimate with an open kitchen in view. Ispecifically chose Citrone last night to try the veal chop I saw featured on Yelp. Once seated I learned from my server that theveal chop is no longer on the dinner menu and is offered as a special on select nights, and tonight was not one of those nights. My heart sank as I looked over the menu for an alternative. While I trying to decide, a gentleman named Brandon stopped by mytable to welcome me to restaurant. I shared my reasoning for visiting, a special celebration, and my heavy-heartedness that theone item I came for was no longer available. With a smile Brandon told me he'd be right back. After a moment he returned to tellme that he had two veal chops, one was spoken for, and the other was available for me. I was thrilled at this news and thankedhim profusely. He went above and beyond to make my special night memorable. My dinner consisted of a scallop appetizer servedwith corn, duck a l'orange, and the superb veal chop with risotto. The scallops were lovely and deliciously light. The flavorand seasoning were exactly what you'd expect from a reputable restaurant. The duck had a savory, crispy skin with succulent, tender meat inside without any gaminess. Lastly, the veal with risotto was one of the most memorable dishes I've ever had. Themeat exploded with flavor and decadence. It was juicy and tender like no other meat I've had. The risotto was creamy and butteryand topped with mouthwatering mushrooms. It was so satisfying it could have been an entrée all on its own. In my usualfashion, I concluded my meal with a vanilla bean cheesecake that was airy and light while still having substance. Trulydelightful. This evening, there were no leftovers. I joyfully cleared my plates and plan to do it again soon!
What an incredible experience! Based on a recommendation, I made a reservation at Citrone to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. Everything, from the ambiance to the service, was outstanding...
