Food was decent and the service was friendly and efficient, especially considering that we were a large and rather chaotic group. We had a great dinner last night. We... inward and it was cozy and festive. The waitress was well done with our big group and the food was delicious. We were looking for something typical of the region, and the Fondue and Cote de Beuf did not disappoint. The manager recommended an excellent medium-priced wine and we shared several desserts that were also very good. Portions were generous and we didn't let hunger. I would definitely eat here again if I came back to Sainte Foy.
It is the most obvious place for lunch, right at the bottom of the slope, next to Snocool. We ate here 6 out of 7 lunches. The usual fare of burgers, chips, salads, etc. was served really fast and with a smile. While... it was fast it was never rushed, it's almost as if they knew we were all starving from a full morning skiing. Beautiful place to take the view of the mountain and the hectic at the lower edge of the slopes. The only toilet. Only 2 cubicles for a restaurant of hundreds of people. Good work the food was fast because the queue was not.
Defo the best place in Staint Foy to feed kids and hungry teenagers lunch. Very near ski school drop off..Reasonable prices and good portion sizes to satisfy the hungriest of them. Good variety for adults too.
.........then pop in here for a vin chaud! I don’t like to leave negative reviews but after having a quick post ski snack of the above drink and a cold soggy croc monsieur, I felt I had to say something. The service was quick and...polite but OMG, the Vin Chaud was truly the worst I have ever had the misfortune to taste. The croc monsieur came a few minutes after the cough medicine and was cold and soggy. Needless to say, neither the drink or the food was touched beyond the first taste and I left, €20 lighter in the pocket and a strange taste in my mouth...... You can do far better in Ste Foy than La Maison a Colonnes.
I have to say a great dinner. Service excellent and the waitress very well copied, although she was very busy.
