The food was good. Our service was good. My husband is celiac and while the server was knowledgeable and the kitchen was accommodating, he was sick all the next day from some kind of cross contamination. It's an obvious risk but kinda spoils the experience. Almost all menu items were able to be made gluten free including the gnocchi so it was nice to have options, however it didn't work out for us. Would likely be fine for an intolerance but not for celiac.
This was my first time at odla. I had heard good things about it and was looking forward to the evening. However, once we were seated by the friendly hostess, we were left waiting at our table for over 15 minutes. Our server eventually dropped off the menu but seemed more interested in another couple at a different table. It was clear that he was putting more effort into serving them. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and main courses but our server did not check on us during the meal or offer us more drinks. This is not the place to go if you are very hungry. I ordered the steak, which was small and tough, one of the worst steaks I have had in a high-end restaurant. My wife enjoyed her fish dish, but we decided to skip dessert. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. Perhaps it was just an off night, but I doubt we will be returning.
Four of us sat at a table and opted for the chef's choice four-course dinner. Each course included four different dishes meant for sharing, and every dish was top-notch! We were satisfied with the portions and thought we got great value for the price. We definitely plan on returning in the future!
The food was incredibly tasty, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The unique interior design made for a fun and memorable experience! I would definitely return to this restaurant.
