Nello's - Scottburgh

Nello's Restaurant on Marine Terrace has an excellent selection of pizzas and pastas and although the service was not fantastic, Brighton really did try his best and always had a smile on his face. <br/ <br/ Nello's may look a little frayed around the edges but they make tasty pizzas and pastas at great prices! <br/ <br/ Favourite starters: Oysters on ice served with lemon Tabasco and their Focaccia with a green garlic sauce.<br/ Their pastas are served with penne or spaghetti, and on my visit I loved the Fusilli in Corozza: a rich tomato sauce with prawns, mussels, and calamari grilled with mozzarella (photo attached).<br/ <br/ Nello's also offers: <br/ Seafood (hake), <br/ Poultry (bullet, corden bleu schnitzel), <br/ From the Grill (T Bone, rumps, rack of ribs Eisbein), <br/ Light Meals, <br/ Toasties, <br/ Combos served with chips and <br/ Pizzas (Continental, Sylvanna, Pasquale, Paradiso, Ferrari, Popeye, Pirates, Nello's, La Nonna, Marinara, Maria's, Fabiolo etc)<br/ <br/ *Recommendation: Just a note not to make the same mistake that I did Nello's is closed on Mondays. <br/ However they have a special to suite every taste for the rest of the week:<br/ On Wednesdays, Nello's has a wonderful pizza special for R60; <br/ On Thursdays they have a sweet sour pork or chicken chow mien special for R50, <br/ On Friday's all pastas are a mere R39 and <br/ On Saturdays curry rice will set you back only R40.

Oh my goodness the cheese pizza is amazing, listen dont have great expectations with regard to it being a classic Italian restaurant you will be sorely disappointed...it is in essence a bar that makes brilliant pizza

Most divine seafood pizza, my children loved the chicken n mushroom pizza, fresh and hot.

The emphasis is on the quality of the food rather than the fanciness of the establishment. The former is done extemely well; we make a point of lunching/dining here when visiting.
