Good food, small menu, a might bit pricey, but the portions will not disappoint. I had the salmon, New England Clam chowder that was much better than Campbell's...
Just back from Louisiana and this place had the same taste in the food will be back
Harbor Crabs makes me think of a Joe's Crab Shack or something similar, like an Applebee's with a nautical theme. This is a fun seafood place and one of the better seafood joints I've tried in the Scranton valley. I wouldn't call it a Cajun place, as there's only poboys and spicy fries, but no other Cajun staples on the menu like boudan sausage or etouffee.I ordered a fried tilapia basket, but got a poboy instead. I didn't bring it up to the server cuz she was running off her feet with all the tables, and honestly, the poboy was pretty good. The fish itself very done just right, but it was bland--tasted good with all the fixings added. The Cajun fries taste like spicy home fries (with something like either Old Bay or blackened spices). There's a ton of really good fish--everyone looked like they were enjoying all the crab legs and everything they ordered. It was nice that it wasn't loud in the dining hall, but the bathroom speakers were cranked up.The bathroom sink is quite difficult to lean over if you have back issues or if you are in a wheelchair--it has a deep counter. The host and server were really friendly, and I thought the service was good for the number of tables and people in the restaurant.
This place is awesome and the food is really really good!! Good quality. Highly recommend. We go here all the time and can't wait to go back. Don't sleep on this place if you like this type of food.
