We managed to secure a small table right by the kitchen as all that was available. Service was very quick for hot drinks, but had to wait a long while for an iced chocolate. Which was okay as staff were super busy and couldn't have worked faster. Prices were reasonable. Iced chocolate was quite disappointing and tasted very plain. Didn't finish it. Fellow coffee goers complained coffee was average. Will return again to see if it was just because it was a busy day..
Beachy cafe with view of ocean. We walked from our nearby vacation home because it was recommended by our hosts. We each ordered fish n chips, however I requested the "Cajun fries" which seemed out of place to me here in AU. None of the young employees knew what they were, or why it was the only "Cajun" item on the menu. Food was served on a board with paper under the fish & small salad with a basket of fries with a red spice (that I couldn't identify) sprinkled on top. It wasn't spicy, so there was nothing Cajun about the fries. The salad was dry, but fish batter was cooked to a crunch and different. The portion was adequate, but not worth the $20 cost to us.
Relax on the swing seating or choose a table outside, at this Cafe on the waterfront. The food was fresh and the dog bowls kept pawed friends happy. The upsize coffee cups are about the same as a small coffee elsewhere; tasted good however. The decor is very beach-y, relaxed yet comfortably cushioned benches define this venue as more upmarket. Very pleasant.
My girlfriend lives about thirty seconds walk from the Olive Tree Cafe and she often goes there to get baguettes for us. Personally, I've never actually
On a Sunday, we had to wait a long time for our coffees because they only had one barista working. To make matters worse, they charged an extra $1 for soy milk. The biggest issue was that they didn't display any prices for the cakes. I ended up purchasing two protein balls that were the size of a 20 cent piece, and they were $4.50 each. In total, we spent $21 on two coffees and two small snacks. I was shocked by the high prices, especially considering the café was only average and its only selling point was its location.
