Redhook Brewlab - Seattle

The restaurant boasts a lovely outdoor patio perfect for enjoying some local beer. The interior is also appealing. The bartenders were friendly and accommodating while I selected my beer flight. They offer a selection of their own brews on tap, along with other options from the Washington and Oregon regions. Although we didn't order any food, I noticed it was available.

The ambiance was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We tried a flight, and each option was wonderful.

Nick approached our table and aggressively took our drinks away just 25 minutes before closing, all because we poured two cans of beer that we had paid for. We understand the need to adhere to laws, but he could have communicated this to us in a respectful and professional manner when he sold us the drinks, rather than coming across so confrontational. His behavior was rude and seemed driven by a desire to assert power. When I attempted to explain this to him, he responded by flipping both myself and my friend off, showing us both middle fingers before walking away. This incident occurred right in front of the manager, Julia, who appeared to condone such behavior from her staff. Overall, it was very unprofessional. I would not return or recommend this place to anyone. There are far better breweries in Seattle—don't waste your time here.

The manager and staff are unprofessional and SO rude. Never have I been served by someone as rude as Nick. He went to our table and aggressively with no explanation grabbed our drinks that we had already paid for and removed them, and when we explained it to the manager, he gave us the fingers and walked away in front of the manager Julia, and she just sided with him. Would not recommend this place to anyone who wishes to be treated with respect.

Great place to come for some beers! The bar tender was awesome!! We chatted about beers, sports, food and all sorts of stuff. He gave excellent recommendations on the beers and the food. Will certainly be going back?
