The Dining Room At The Oak House

Loved it. Perfect location. Lovely comfortable room. Tea and coffee with fridge and coffee maker. Lovely vegan and vegetarian breakfast. Bar is very nice with nice decor. The shower was lovely and hot. My room was in a perfect spot to watch over the square. The were also kind enough to let me put my bike just inside the building overnight but there are bike spaces just outside on the square. Lovely helpful staff. Rooms: 5

The 2 night stay for my 60th birthday has been amazing. Alex is a wonderful host and manager. The food is 11/10 breakfast was amazing The best myself and other half have ever had. Also the meal in the evening was wonderful from fish chips to prawn and veg curry with home made nan. Absolutely amazing. Please give this place a go they deserve your custom. We live locally to The Oakhouse and would love to pop over regularly for a drink, especially in the summer months. However, my husband doesn't drink alcohol and no alternative beers, lagers or ciders are provided. The barmaid also makes it clear that we are welcome to take our business elsewhere too. Which we did.
