Small menu, which means great food and perfect portion sizes, not too big! A nice restaurant nestled on the edge of cottage country. We will return!
Stopped for lunch on the drive from Ottawa to Peterborough. Fish and chips was fresh and perfectly cooked, fries were just how I like them. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely go again
We attended the Ennis Sisters dinner and show at The Crossing Pub. The show was fantastic but the dinner was sorely lacking in terms of quality. We have attended other events here - the more recent ones seem to have very poor food. It is as if they are trying to save money by providing a less than mediocre meal. It tastes like M&Ms overly seasoned meat. I could comment on the other options offered but I didn't actually taste them. Be prepared to have salad served on a saucer!
Every year, my teenage daughter and I drive 4hrs to Sharbot Lake as a bonding day. We rent canoes at Sharbot Lake Provincial Park then we end our day with a supper of Fish and Chips and Cheesecake at Crossings before heading back home. The service is slow but the food is always homemade and great tasting. We have never been disappointed. We never slept at the Inn. But the scenery is great and the people are welcoming.
