Maison Tait House - Shediac

We visited in November and had a great experience. Stayed overnight and had dinner in February. The room was clean and nice. We enjoyed the delicious Chowder. Rose raved about the Parmesan Lemon Pepper Haddock, calling it to die for, while I loved the Chicken Kiev. Our waitress Rachel was very professional and friendly, just like Matt, who served us in November. Overall, a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy a meal.

There were three of us. We were disappointed by the lackluster décor of the restaurant. There were no tablecloths or candles on the tables. Given that it was a hotel, we expected a nicer ambience. The service was slow, but the server was friendly. However, he was not knowledgeable about the ingredients in some of the menu items. Several items were also not available on the menu, and there was only one option for dessert, which was a chocolate lava cake.

We visited the beer garden and enjoyed a nice drink on the patio. It is highly recommended to make reservations for dinner ahead of time as we were unable to secure a last-minute table.

Hello. We decided to experience this restaurant yesterday, and I must say our experience was disappointing. We were greeted by a teenager wearing Lulu-Lemonen at the door. We have on our table, bare bones wooden tables, then with three laminated menus, including... drinks, regular menu items. Our waiter was very polite. Our food pictures were as follows Appetizer fish cake, good part, taste very mix of stuffed mushrooms. Fair potion, barely boiled Main Marry me Chicken, Chicken was 4-5 oz ! Lobster Linguini, good potion good taste wine selection : Very good drinks: Very good atmosphere: Clean Spacious but no ambience Enter: To our surprise a musician appeared and played. He was very good and had a good amount to enjoy his music at the end of the evening My overhauled review: Based on the above details and value for money. I would rate this restaurant with our experience 6/10.

My wife was there years ago, and was highly looking forward to show me this high end facility, booked well in advance for our anniversary, with a package, stay and dine type. The welcoming was adequate, and the room was quite nice to be in,...confortable and view of the Main Street and ocean. Diner was superbe as well as the service, music was nice but extremely loud for the setting, we visited the town and upon our return, noted that the room was not service, no new towels, no toilets paper etc, had to request it. Second diner was the same, loud music we had friends with us and had to yell so we could have a conversation, not the right setting for sure. With this type of inn, we expected a higher level of care, no nap on table, however the service at diner was great, always with a smile. Food was excellent, the inn is a beautiful hotel with heritage however the decorations of semi modern looks, might appeal to a younger population, and the loud music, you make you own assessment as I for one will not recommend to my friends.
