Nice place to walk around and enjoy. Generally, standard flowers etc, nothing out of the ordinary and very expensive. Good quality products though and the staff are helpful. A pleasant hour spent here, worth a visit just to see the free range chickens. I have been more recently and this garden centre is getting better all the time. They are developing their house plant section, recently bought 3 plants as a birthday gift, including a rare one, and they were Brilliant and loved. Also, the Fairy garden range is magical, and again bought a fairy house as a present that was loved, (along with a purple rose- also loved). Ready made gifts to enhance the garden, that 'll be Christmas sorted then . I 've got to the point now where I love going to this place and visit every few weeks...I don 't even bother with the chickens, too much going on here!! Still expensive though, although the bargain table is well worth a visit, two shrubs for £3. Lovely staff too. Apparently there is a cafe, I 'm sure it 's nice.

Medium-sized garden center with a quite wide range and sorting of plants. prices are average or slightly above. has a more compact and personal feeling due to its size, but this also means waiting times at the cash can be longer than they would hope due to the lower staff. However, the staff who are there are friendly and knowledgeable.

I have this place both the center and the caffe. always so friendly and welcoming employees an absolute leak and delicious food. Today I had the hot roast beef sandwich with homemade engraving. great value, beautiful location, sitting inside or outside a day worth out here.

Very accommodating for 8 cyclists who stood up while they were fully booked. with high quality hot sandwiches, coffee and cake. not the cheapest place, but the food worth the extra as high quality tasty sausage and speck. we just landed here, as the caffe in tadcaster was less accommodating, but sure it will be a supplement to our club runway.
