Ferrara's Italian Bakery - Ship Bottom

My wife and I were in town for a couples retreat and discovered this bakery. Donuts are my weakness, and these were incredibly delicious—so rich and full of flavor! I tried the orange creamsicle and the chocolate crème donuts. If you're in the area, you definitely need to stop by and treat yourself!

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel the high rating of this bakery is misleading. The donuts we ordered were undercooked and stale, making them so chewy that we struggled to eat them. The chocolate frosted donut was overly sweet, while the cream in the Boston cream donut lacked any flavor. The staff was friendly, and the place has a charming atmosphere, but it seems like you're primarily paying for the ambiance rather than quality.

Every time I visit this place, I’m grateful that there’s still someone who knows how to bake bread. They have the best egg sandwich on the island, and the donuts are always fantastic. I can’t fathom why anyone else serving sandwiches here doesn’t use their bread.

There isn't a thing there that doesn't taste delicious. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and warm and welcoming

GREAT donuts, cookies, etc. Friendly staff. Great iced coffees as well.
