The food was superb, the staff pleasantly attentive and knowledgeable.

Came here after the Willis Tower and had a great time. The beer is really nice, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is really cool in the old school kinda way. Plus their German Chocolate Cake dessert is one of the best sweets I’ve ever tried.

I would give the restaurant 5 stars for the food and 1 star for the service so it will get 3 stars as an average. Our waitress only had a few tables, but would never come and check on us. It was hard to get her to take our order and even harder to get a drink refill or a dessert menu. The Rootbeer was so good along with the cheese curds, pretzel, and the main entrees. Wonderful place with very friendly staff. Great food and the beer which is brewed there was very good. Was visiting Chicago with friends and they have been there before. Would definately go again when in Chicago. Great family owned restaurant. We wish it lots of success and hope covid does not adversely affect them.
