I was shocked how bad it was eating. a large toppers salat was literally taken from the torps of a hamburger (shy iceberg salad, a few slices tomato, some canned olives and a puppenkäse). the main course was salty and barely edible. this is a bar, and a tourist trap, and unfortunately I will not return, nor will I recommend it.
A beautiful meal. try it out. my man enjoyed the meat and carrots. the bare-steered abbes were delicious. Do not miss the pie w/ice cream.
It was our first time dinning at toppers. we were often in st maarten, but had never eaten there. incredible! it was very good. especially the extra large cut of the prime rib I ordered. my wife went with the Tuna Appetizer and a few bites of my dinner. I had a difficult time to finish the nativity that was spiced to perfection. we shared the rumcake dessert that was fantastic! overall carol was a great server (they had even let us sample many different samples from toppers around), very human and friendly. the only disappointment was that it took over 20 trips to the island to stop for dinner and drinks!
I ate 3 years ago at toppers. I was disappointed by the Brisket sandwich I felt was not almost as good as before. I also felt it was overpriced. the place was almost empty at 19 o'clock on Sunday. It used to be full.
Had a 6:30 reservation. Was told we needed to be a part of play at 8pm in dinning room or sit at small table not big enough for 4 for dinner. We elected to go outside and eat at picnic table. Had to go ask for server after waiting 15 minutes. Took 45 minutes to get our food after ordering then only got 3 dinners. 4th dinner finally came after everyone else had finished eating. No consideration on the bill. No sample rum as promised.
