The lasagne came out boiling hot in places and very cold on the inside, so they microwaved that for a start. This is suppose to be an Italian restaurant? The breaded mushroom starter was accumpanied with limp brown lettuce. And the soup and bread roll came without butter, staff were so unwilling I felt I couldn't ask for any. On the whole this was a waste of money and we left very disappointed. Would not recommend and would never return here to eat. The M&S food court opposite looked like the better option in hindsight.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is a good price and cooked well. The wine too is good and not badly priced.
When you arrive at 7pm having crawled down the M4 for hours with a hungry 15 year old in tow, to find the pizza restaurant you’d booked as a ‘first night of holiday treat’ is in darkness with no notification and for no apparent reason, I’m afraid a limp lettuce salad bar and tired ‘help yourself’ chilli for £13.95 a head doesn’t really cut it. We opted for the M&S Food at the petrol station over the road. Disappointing. Very disappointing.
After been at Legoland we came in for a convenient dinner, and was surprised it was near enough empty! However now I know why. We was quickly shown to a table and drinks and meals were ordered. Food was ok- not very hot however edible however the service was awful. The adults starters came first, then the children’s main, then the children’s starters and finally the adults mains. When I told the waiter, he looked confused at the fact I was saying the children wanted their starters first, and had to go and the supervisor Magdalena, who was extremely rude and arrogant. She walked off huffing and clearly went to the bar area (where we could see) to talk about us to some other staff who all stood there looking. The food order was also wrong but thought it wasn’t worth the hassle. After spending nearly £100 in there we definitely won’t be returning and would advise others not to bother.
My son and I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of dining here one evening. It did surprise me that we were able to walk in and be seated straight away. The restaurant was virtually empty and now I understand why! Your waiter was extremely rude. I was presented with a bill which he clearly didn’t want me to check and he placed it at the opposite side of the table to me. I’m not sure my 8 year old son had the funds to foot our £55 bill for just the two of us. Anyway the price wasn’t the issue. There were two desserts on our bill which we hadn’t ordered. I explained this to him and eventually he took it to the female waitress in there who came across for me to explain again! I explained and she printed out a new bill. Your rude waiter brought this across and whilst I sat there checking it he stood next to me and huffed aloud! How rude. I stopped what I was doing and asked if he had a problem with me checking a bill which he had already presented incorrectly! I had the sirloin. It was awful. Their version of a salad was lettuce on my plate! My advice would be not to eat here. It certainly wasn’t worth the £55 for one adult and one child meal. I might add I only had one large glass of wine! I asked for a liqueur coffee with Brandy but they said that they couldn’t do that!!! If you insist on eating here then check your bill. My extra two desserts would have cost me nearly an extra £10! Needless to say we won’t be back.
