We stopped in for a quiet coffee while walking our dogs. My wife proclaimed it the best cup of coffee for all age groups (Flat white with an extra shot). Dogs are not allowed inside, but the staff kindly provided a large container of water for our two furry friends. The location is beautiful for brunch, especially at 11 am. More than half of the tables were filled with families and children of various ages, as well as a few elderly couples like ourselves. The food looked appealing and was enjoyed with great satisfaction. Smith's Lake is becoming a popular holiday destination, and Frothy Coffee has a monopoly on lakeside dining with a view. Despite this, they provide excellent coffee and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. They definitely deserve commendation.
Waiting for half an hour after paying for your meal is not acceptable, especially if it is a known issue. The customers should be informed in advance. The food I received was not worth what I paid for. I was given fried crumble bears and only 5 chips in my meal. This has happened before, but I decided to give them another chance. It seems like they don't make an effort to satisfy their customers because they are the only food option in the area. I will not be returning to Frothy Coffee. They couldn't even manage a smile. Despite their lack of effort, we will not be deterred from exploring other dining options in Sydney. Let this be a lesson to them.
I just went to Frothy Coffee to have breakfast. After deciding what we wanted three minutes before, there was no one behind us, only my husband and I, and we said we were too late. So... we went to order from the lunch menu and we were told not by 12 o'clock a half hour difference we were now wanting to eat would have spent $60-$70 if they had served us not going to disturb. We left and don't go back. We realize that places have their cut-off times, but we had just driven half an hour to breakfast there, and since there was no one behind us, what would have been hurt.
Enjoyed our meals, crumbed chicken burgers , curried mince pot pie leek potato soup with sour dough. Great coffee also!
