Livid doesn 't even come close. Tried calling the store, can 't get through. My daughter and her friends were humiliated in Sainsbury 's Rayleigh Weir today. They were buying sweets, birthday presents and cards for their friend when a female member of staff accused them of shoplifting. She called on the radio for security and said it 's the group with two BROWN girls. Well my daughter is one of the brown girls and I am so angry how these girls were treated. They are a lovely group and would not dream of stealing. They were still browsing and weren 't ready to go to the checkout. They were frog marched to the front of the store and told to turn out their pockets. Well surprise surprise no unpurchased goods had been stashed, so the female staff member gave a very reluctant forced apolology, but no apology from security though. I am angry they were humiliated like this, but what I 'm most angry about is the BROWN reference. Now if they were a group of all white children, would they have even been noticed, I think not. Racism through and through. Complaint is going to be made with Sainsbury 's head office.
Someone needs to clean out the machines in the Bakery dept. Found mixed fruit and raisins in your crusty rolls. Tried calling.. but can’t get routed to a human via the phone.
This is one of the worst Sainsbury's. I only visit as the nearest. Its badly run shelves often empty. Staff not that helpful.
Lovely things in there more than canvey Sainsbury’s have
