Joey's Restaurants - Spruce Grove

We have eaten at Joey's Only in Spruce Grove for years. The fish is always delicious! Seafood is expensive, so it is not a cheap meal. However, if you go there on Tuesdays, it's all you can eat fish for around $18. The place is small, but we've never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes. Love that they've expanded their menu to include fish tacos and some soft shell crab.

What happened to the portion sizes. The fish were 2 skinny pieces with a weird coating on it. The fries were 1/4 cup. This was not what we expected. Is this the new Joey's cutting corners to save on costs? Very disappointing.

Tried this spot for lunch, was perfect in every way! Service was amazing, meal was served promptly and hot. Hats off to the chef! Ordered the famous fish and a side tossed salad. We are delighted we found a nice family restaurant which is suitable for the kids! The atmosphere is really cozy and the temperature inside is not too cold when wearing shorts and a t-shirt on a nice summer day.. perfect temperature.. . good specials too! Awesome as usual for Joey's fish an shrimp dish. Waitress was super friendly an did an amazing job. Definitely return next in the city.

The restaurant is smaller, quiet it wasn’t busy at the time I arrived. The food was amazing, the service was also amazing! The fish tacos were flavorful huge! The kids meals are excellent as well. Would recommend the fish tacos for sure!
