South Fin Grill - Staten Island

Beautiful place a hidden jewel on the water in Staten Island. We drove along the water and came over this place. The food was good, the view spectacular, and the service was perfect. The only drawback was the loud (ish) music.

The food was good, but not great, with large portions. The service was OK, but a little slow (it was not crowded). The music was too loud. Beautiful views of the promenade, the beach and the sea.

It was overall good food and drinks and good service!!

We went for the Fourth of July. They were completely understaffed. The menu was very limited and what did have on the menu was sold out! My mother did not like what was actually available on the menu and they had nothing to accommodate her with. Unfortunately, she did not even have an entree. To make the evening even worse we were informed that the chef quit and we had to wait for another cook to arrive. It was the very worst dining experience of my life. The waiter was a very nice man who worked very hard at trying to do his job for a resturant that could obviously care less about its workers along with its patrons.I would never return to this establishment.
