The restaurant was clean and more organized than most we have visited. The standout dish was the chicken haleem, which was spicy and perfectly cooked. The hot chicken corn soup was a comforting choice on a cold afternoon, with a well-balanced flavor. The milky vermicelli dessert, doodh sevaiyyan, was thick, creamy, and flavorful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience thanks in part to our server, Bilal.
As someone who travels for work at least three times a week, I enjoy trying out new ethnic cuisines from different places. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The chicken marsala I ordered was extremely greasy and overly spicy, to the point where it was difficult to eat and even made me choke. Additionally, the chicken was dry and overcooked, with no rice served on the side. The garlic naan lacked any noticeable garlic or oil. I will not be recommending this restaurant to others and may even be requesting a refund from my credit card company.
I recently purchased food from Mehran Restaurant. The food was average, but I was disappointed to find a cockroach in it. A couple of days ago, I also found a hair in my nehari dish, which was especially disappointing because I love nehari. Unfortunately, this experience has made me decide that I will not be returning to Mehran Restaurant. It seems like they need to improve their kitchen cleanliness practices before preparing food. I felt embarrassed in front of my companions and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please think twice before ordering food from Mehran Restaurant.
