We just enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at Harp's. Service was outstanding. All food received rave reviews from seafood to steak. Nice selection of wine and beer as well. Cozy little restaurant with a corner for some additional privacy for family of you reserve ahead of time. Plan to drop some cash for dinner though; it isn't like going to Panera.
The food was good.. Which is why we went.. And the waitress was very sweet and helpful with the issues we had... BUT THE OWNER... WOW... the owner is the reason we will never go back. We had a table of 6...arrived at 6. The place was extremely warm! They had barely enough air conditioning to cool the place down. Fans all over the place. No one said it was broken when we asked if they could turn it down at all. Just brought a fan to our table. We had all ordered drinks and appetizers, some got soup. By the time it was to bring soup for one of the gals after our apps, she asked if she could cancel it because she was not feeling well from the extreme warmth. The owner told the waitress to let her know she still would be charged! What!? She asked to speak with him.. He wouldn't come to our table! Not to apologize for the heat or anything! We were trying to make the best of it. Another girl couldn't even finish her dinner and asked for box so she could leave as she didn't feel well enough to eat. We planned to have desserts but there was no way we would stay another minute. The bathroom was cooler than the restaurant! In addition to this, we were celebrating an event and were laughing a lot... But apparently one patron was so upset at our laughing, I watched her tell her husband that we needed to shut the F up! I told her we were sorry for being so loud and she asked if I heard her.. Which I said Yes I Did. Then the rest of the restaurant was EXTREMELY LOUD! It happens but the clientele was just too stuffy just like the air in that place. What a shame the owner was too cheap to turn on the air or realize he cost himself WAY MORE than he would have if he wouldn't have charged my friend for hot soup. So sad. There are way more restaurants to go to that owners actually care about their patrons and go out of their way to accommodate them. We were not being unreasonable at all. That poor waitress felt so bad she paid for my friends meal herself but we all tipped her very very very well as this was not her fault. Don't waste your money supporting such an awful owner.
Just when I think I couldn’t have a better meal, I come to Harp’s and my mind is blown yet again. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside is quite spectacular and the service is excellent. You can’t get a better meal anywhere in the treasure coast. Jeff was an amazing server. He was very attentive and took great care of us.
Amazing!! We walked in to a busy hostess who without hesitation set us up a table and sat us. Our waiter promptly took our drink order and brought them out as quickly as he took our order. The food was absolutely amazing. From our steaks to our cheese cake we couldn'task for more. We were greeted with the Owner/Chef Micheal who is very kind and made us feel very comfortable. The pricing was spot on.If you would truly like a great dining experience. I highly recommend Harp's. Thank you again for my first excellent experience. We will see you soon.
