Love this restaurant. Always feels special and never disappoints!

I love an Old Hollywood vibe and a history this restaurant has it. If you go, the inside of the menu has a full page of sordid details about this place. If you haven't visited the Rendition Room or Martini Lounge, be sure to ask your server for a tour. Cocktails are good. It is a good place to go for a nite cap. Food: What drew me here my first time was the caesar salad. This time I had the mushroom chicken pasta that was very flavorful. When something is this good, we try to figure out the ingredients so we can try this at home. Birthday dessert was a cannoli and tiramisu. I think I gravitated towards the cannoli but the tiramisu was very good. Parking: Valet or off street, depending on your preference.

We had a great dinner at Vitello’s, which is always the perfect spot for good food, cocktails and a laid back evening of conversation among friends. Our server was friendly and attentive, and skillfully juggled ours with several other tables, never dropping the ball or missing a beat. The place was Saturday night busy, and there was plenty of energy in the room, which felt festive without being chaotic. The fried calamari shrimp appetizer was fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked, and the 2, slightly acidic sauces contrasted nicely with the richness of the fish. The artisan bread, really a freshly-baked, old school white Italian bread a la 1960’s NYC, was spot on, and the accompanying truffle butter gave it a nice boost (though plain old butter would have been just as wonderful in this piping hot loaf). Entrees were top notch. My porcini rubbed filet mignon was cooked a perfect medium, and the combo of the rub and reduced sauce gave it a rich, Earthy flavor. My friends orders Cabonara, Eggplant Parm and Chicken Parm, all of which checked all the boxes, leaving everyone quite satisfied. Between the stellar food and some excellently crafted cocktails we were too stuffed for dessert — but we’ll leave room next time. And there will definitely be a next time very soon.

The food, service and ambience were all top notch. This restaurant is a real treasure!

Outstanding menu and everything was delicious from the appetizers to entrees to desserts and very reasonably priced. They have an extensive wine list and the outdoor seating was perfect based on the weather yesterday.
