Bloody French - Subiaco

I am a local and I feel almost traitorous to be telling you what a lovely place this is to have dinner or lunch. The ambience, staff service and friendliness, the terrific wine list and the delicious French fare...beautiful flavours, good portions..it is like being in a French Bistro, definitely without the pretension. If you know of a better place then go. I'm sticking to the **** French.

Not sure I'd go back. Food was lovely but I was initially put off by the noise and the smoke in the restaurant from the open fire. If the fire was managed and actually burning I wouldn't have had to come home and wash everything. Portion sizes a little small and the service was lacking in providing assistance and suggestions.

Lovely homely feeling and attentive staff. We ordered the rabbit and the lamb, both cooked perfectly- albeit a little rich, but that it to be expected with French cuisine. Will definitely return!

Highly recommend. The food is outstanding - seriously good???? loved the braised rabbit and the squid. French Cheese was also excellent. Huge surprise to find such a great place in Perth????

For some reason I find the name off-putting but when many of the breakfast joints on Rokeby Road were full one Saturday, we decided to give it a shot...and I'm so glad we did! The coffee was wonderfully smooth, the juice freshly squeezed and the food delicious! I chose the Pain Perdu and I have to say it was one of the best serves of French Toast I've had (and this is my go-to breakfast choice). The service was attentive, polite and friendly. We are already planning our next visit, perhaps for dinner. I'm loving this little gem on Rokeby Road.
