My fav indian take away joint has been ruined.. This place used to have modern and cool vibe about it. It seems that new owners don't care and have gone with the generation old ways of running indian take away. The place has a glass wall which allowed visitors to see their food getting cooked, now we see the whole mess that has been left by clumsy cook, who acts like a chef. We went tonight and the place was a mess, with new owner sitting on the front door with creepy looks when we walked in, to chef who walks in to cook food and it seems that he doesnt know what and how he is going to cook. This place used to be run with passion and it was visible in the quality and freshness of the food but now alas.. You have specials plastered all over the place selling butter chicken and rice.. here's a news flash.. if I needed that I would go to 2 Fat Indians or something better. In all my last 2 years visiting this place i have never seen apron dirty, it always used to be neat and tidy.. tonight what I saw made me walk out of the place, when we finally tasted our food.. we found mediocre, flat and tasteless food. This was my last visit today and I wont be coming back again.

It is with great sadness that we would like to inform all our loyal customers that as of today, 23 September 2015, we have sold our business and the restaurant is under new management, effective now. It has been a great three years serving you all and we greatly appreciate all the positive comments and feedback we have received from our valued customers on here. We would once again like to thank all our customers for their support and appreciation over the past three years.

Working late at the office means ordering delivery for dinner. I picked the Tikka Fish Salad (trying to be healthy) and couldn't get past not ordering a Garlic Naan. Packaging was brilliant. Foodwise though, the fish was slightly spicy but I did enjoy the taste. However the salad was very dry with no dressing and just a bunch of lettuce and leaves. Very minimal cherry tomatoes and slight shreds of onion were found to my disappointment. The garlic naan lacked flavour but texture was good. Have to say that I was disappointed with the food but perhaps I will give the wraps/hot meals a shot next time instead. jellyphinebean.blogspot.com

Do yourself a favour try the winter specials here - Butter chicken and Lamb rogan Josh. Tried both during lunch and I have to say it beats the competition hands down in Subiaco. Other restaurants like chutney Mary's also do a $10 lunch special but value for money combined with the taste and portions here take the cake in my opinion. Can't wait to try their mainstream menu items
