The cookies were crumbling when I used to it, but they were me nice break from my standard and still fill as ever. I wasn't a big fan of perpetrator deaths as the oil seemed to bring the balance of meal towards the lubricating side. That means they're Tater dead, what would I have expected? The staff was super sweet and hospitable. The only drawback I can mention was the misunderstanding that Fenton's Landing is a restaurant. This is much more a convenience store with a kitchen in the back and seat for 15-20 near the front of the store. Do not look for staff to come and see how your meal is, as they call you the name and deliver the food to your table and are done. But again, with as sweet as they were, my friends and I don't mind at all.
The hours are a bit unusual this time of year, as it's nearly 2 o'clock. Many of the year-round residents seem to be selling, but there must be a reason for that. The sandwiches are good, but that’s about it for my experience. There’s nothing particularly special about the place, and the prices seem high, likely due to the location and rent—definitely not for the budget-conscious. I didn’t find any great deals that would entice me to buy more. The food is decent, and it’s just a short walk from the docks or boat ramp. The interior tables are lovely if you need a break from the weather. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly.
At the end of the day we arrived to find the chorage, it was closed even though their posted hours said they were open. I couldn't have been happier with the Vermishap. Breakfast came fast and was delicious. Portions were great for the price. The pastries were all fresh. People and service were great. I would recommend this store to everyone and they also sell beer and snacks if you are on the boat and need a refill!
This restaurant is locally owned, which earns it an additional two stars. The food is decent but nothing more. The coffee, however, is excellent. The seasonal staff, who are mostly young and inexperienced, often struggle with providing good service, so keep that in mind.
The food here is excellent, and the layout of the restaurant is impressive. There are tables by the windows that offer fantastic views, and they provide self-serve iced coffee, iced tea, and lemonade, along with a small ice bucket. The desserts at the register are delightful as well. My two favorites are the steak cheese sandwich with peppers, mushrooms, and onions — served on a super fresh sub roll — and the grilled BLT with horseradish cheddar cheese, which is absolutely delicious. The staff is really friendly, making the experience even better. You really can't go wrong here!
