Can’t believe it’s taken me sooo long to visit this pub. I went with a mate to watch rugby… 8am start! This is one of the last great old Kiwi pubs. It’s got it all!! Felt like going back to the old days. Great beer, great food, great staff! Worth checking out if your a visitor to Nelson for sure. Can’t recommend it more and shall be heading back soon. It just became my fav Nelson pub!!

Had a lovely meal there smothered in delicious mushroom sauce. Great price too. Good friendly service. Shuttle bus too. Well done Post Boy Hotel.

This place is still going pretty strong,good hospitality here.
