The authentic Tapas and Paellas made me proud of my Spanish heritage. I have always had a love for Spanish food, growing up with a steady supply of callos and cocido. The Sangria Blanco was a fantastic welcome drink, prompting me to have another round. The croquettes, chorizo, and manchego cheese were a delicious way to start the meal, tantalizing our taste buds for the Paella [both Valenciana and Negra]. The Churros dessert was the perfect finishing touch. Both the chocolate and rum variations were irresistible, leaving me wanting more. And to end the meal on a high note, the brewed coffee with mascovado sugar was excellent.
I recently celebrated my birthday with a dinner at this restaurant and was absolutely impressed by the delicious tapas and amazing Paella Negra! They also have a great selection of wine and beer to choose from. Additionally, I am interested in trying their daily Php1200 wine and tapas buffet from 4-6pm.
We ate twice here in our 3 days stay. We could have eat more timea but it doesn't open till 4pm. We ordered paella valenciana for the kids and meatball which are both good. They gave us complementary tapas or pintxos and we end up ordering a platter. It is in 2nd floor, above Saffron. Unlike that, it is air condition so a good place to relax from the heat.
Check out my review of this restaurant: they offer scallops, calamari, shrimp, minced beef, tongue, and fresh mozzarella. The dishes are all unique and filling, so you can expect a satisfying dinner. Make sure to confirm the restaurant's hours of operation before heading over!
My fiancé and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday night around 7:30 pm and it was completely empty. It's a small restaurant located inside the Amorita Resort (above the saffron restaurant) and relatively new. The food is pretty good for the most part. The beef crostini and chicken pinchos were our favorite dishes that we tried. We tried 2 potato dishes (bravas and another one that was in a mojo sauce) and neither were very good. We also tried the garlic shrimp, which was decent. To drink we got a mango daquiri, which was delicious, and a Long Island iced tea, which wasn't great. Overall I would say everything was generally good, with some misses here and there, but it's definitely worth a try. Just a note: not sure if they understand the concept of tapas coming out one by one when the dishes are ready, but we had to wait a while for our food because they brought it all out at once.
