More than half the turkey seemed to have gone, as well as part of the beef a little odd when we were there when the lunch service started at 11.45. How long have the meats been there where did they go? We opted for the gammon which looked the most decent. The portion of meat was small; it tasted OK but was a tad salty. There was a selection of lukewarm veg, some of which were undercooked (like the carrots) some were overcooked (like the green beans which were too soft). We were glad there were parsnips on offer did like the purple cabbage as it was something different from the regular veg selection. The Yorkshire pudding was light crisp as well, which was good. Overall, it was an unremarkable visit but we are glad we got a roast dinner fix.
