The staff was friendly, but we found the portions to be small and the prices to be expensive. We ordered garnels, lumpe, and sweet dishes, but found the taste to be average and nothing exceptional. The atmosphere was not pleasant, possibly due to the tent set up for an event the following day. Ultimately, we were unsatisfied with our experience and ended up going back to our resort to eat again.
We were very pleased with the portion size and quality of our dishes at the restaurant. The chili crab dish was flavorful and came with three generously sized crabs, while the chili sauce was delicious. The sizzling squid was served hot and tender. The only downside was the rice, which was overcooked and dried out. However, we didn't mind too much as the main dishes were so tasty. We arrived early for dinner and were promptly served, which was a plus.
I went to this restaurant in Bellevue. The staff were polite, but they served us stale shrimp (in both the sinigang and muro-ami dishes). They mentioned they were out of prawns, so they offered us a choice between grilled squid or shrimp. The lobster was very small, the shell had a strong taste, and the shrimp had a strange odor that made me question if they inspected their ingredients before cooking. I will not be recommending or returning to this restaurant.
Muro-Ami is a very nice place where she serves very good food. the staff was always so friendly and helpful. we went there for 4 days to breakfast (pancakes and sometimes for lunch/death (pancite and pizza and we never had anything to complain... about the kitchen is not the fastest, but that is something they need to learn on the philippines – go slowly. and if they have so nice staff around them, eating is worth the waiting time, it's really okay. So they relax at Muro-Ami.
It has a nice location on the beach with reasonable prices but unfortunately the service just took too long (over an hour for an iced tea, and even longer for our bbq pork skewers and grilled calamari). If the waitress told us from the very...beginning that they only had one chef on duty and that it would be a long wait we would not have been upset. We easily could have gone for a walk or sat at the beach until the food was ready but rather, were led to believe that food was on its way. Over an hour to bring an iced tea is ridiculous that doesn't require a chef, we heard them stirring the mix! Poor communication, terrible service, along with mediocre food does not motivate me to recommend this place.
