The Cod was absolutely melt in the mouth delicious, but the portion size was the smallest in comparison with the other dishes. The KFC8 ( Korean fried chicken) was a good combination of sweet and spicy. The Oxtail was also delicious. The pork belly was a bit chewy, but the kimchi accompanying it was good. The main disappointment were the Po boys consisting of a seemingly unseasoned shrimp & oysters that were deep fried and lacked any flavour whatsoever.Service was prompt and the server was very friendly and attentive.
Had no idea what to expect from a Korean Tapas restaurant - but WOW is the answer. Nine Kitchen and Bar just lets the hits play and they keep on coming! The menu is fabulous and I challenge anyone to be able not to find 3 or 4 things that just send your taste buds into orbit.Do not expect standard Korean fare, but be prepared for a fusion experience beyond belief. No Bulgogi on this menu and their take on Kimchi alone will leave you breathless and yearning for more. Had the following: Kinchi Fries, Deep Fried Seaweed Roll, Beef Tatare and the Grilled Kalbi Steak. Let's just say we're thinking of going back for breakfast if they'll have us!Attentive helpful service and an ambience that just can't be beat. Ronci has a new home run. Run, don't walk and get there before the secret gets out!!
Went out for a Sat night venture. Food was tasty, and well varied. Glass noodles were good except could have used a larger portion per serving. Oxtail was very tasty but again too small a portion. Calamari was very nice - crispy and done just right! Pork belly was a little less well done so tasted a bit fatty even for belly. The KFC8 chicken was good and probably only dish with the right amount per serving. No dessert on the menu though, so leave your sweet tooth at home. Good atmosphere with a reasonable selection of cocktails. Friendly enough staff. Food service speed could be a little faster as there was quite a lull between courses although owner came out to apologize.
Extensive menu for all tastes with a hint of Korean flavour. Try a starter then choose from a seafood, meat eater of veggie portion of the menu. Reasonable prices and good octopus.
This is a little spot of cool at the end of Roncy...We did take-out but the atmosphere will bring me back for a sit down.Korean Fusion>? Ok - whatever. The kimchi dumplings and glass noodle salad were stand-outs. Everything was fresh and well put together. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Good Start 9.
