There was no wait when we visited, and I appreciated that the two girls working inside were wearing masks—kudos to them! They offered around ten flavors of ice cream along with ten different toppings. My daughter, who is 8, was captivated by the Unicorn flavor, which featured beautiful blue, white, and purple swirls with chunks of lemon. We ordered her a small, which turned out to be quite generous in a waffle cone! She couldn't finish it all. For younger kids, there's a kiddie size that’s just right; my 3-year-old niece had that, and it was a perfect portion for her. I tried the coffee flavor, which was tasty but similar to other coffee ice creams I've had. The place is adorable, with plenty of parking and a convenient location right on the main road.
15 flavors they typically have 3 available ... i was just there... 20 people in line , soft serve ice cream broken, one guy taking orders and scooping ice cream.. its Labor Day people!!! Get an owner or manager in there and stop having high school kids running your operation!
My sister and I ordered small soft serve chocolate ice creams in wafer cones, but the girl taking our orders didn’t know what a wafer cone was. She nearly gave us waffle cones instead until my dad also ordered a wafer cone and clarified it was like a cake cone. Thankfully, we ended up with cake cones after all. Speaking of the girl taking orders, every time a customer paid, she struggled to figure out how much change to give back. She often had to ask the only other employee there for help. For instance, the total for the customer in front of us was $6.79, and she asked how much change that was, to which the boy replied 21 cents. She then asked, "Are you sure?" This seems like simple math to me, but I guess not to her. Finally, when my dad received his ice cream, we discovered on the way back to the campsite that he had been given the wrong flavor. He ordered chocolate coconut almond but ended up with some sort of banana/caramel flavor. We weren’t even sure what it was, and it didn’t taste good at all. The only positive note about this place is that my dad’s girlfriend, my sister, and I received the correct orders, and they were tasty. However, we will not be returning to this ice cream shop.
Off the road but worth a stop. Lots of original flavors of ice cream, high quality and good service
Visited a few days ago, when we walked up we see the cash only sign(cuts down your on your sales you know) we ask the girl oh no, cash only? And she just nods her head, didn 't say there was an atm down the road or anything, just a nod. WTH? Most of the flavors and toppings were crossed out with tape. Booming business I see. SMH. A little smile and customer service goes a long way little girl.
