Las Animas Grill - Trinidad

Bar and grill, that's a step up. many bottled/winning beer selection and a curated short list of craft beer on tap. large portion and friendly service. the atmosphere was welcoming and clean. obviously a place where a person could become a rule with ease.

It was okay.The staff was nice. I loved the look of the place. The graffiti type art along the walls towards the bathrooms was very cool.I was not impressed with my food. It wasn't flavorful. I had steak and eggs and my steak was a bit more rare than I would have liked. I ordered medium. I felt sick the remainder of the day. I'm not sure I will be returning.

Excellent food and service. Sort of a dicey neighborhood. My wife had Balsamic chicken with asparagus and truffle mashed potatoes. I had Fish and chips. Boot were outstanding $32 with two beers. Great place for dinner.

I am giving 3 stars and please let me explain. The service was so pleasant; however the meals we chose were not. My husband ordered a patty melt and it was not a tasty at all. I had the turkey/bacon/lettuce sandwich and it tasted as if it were freezer burnt. It also had “chewies” like the chef did not slice off the fatty parts of the turkey. I am always looking for the positive, but I would not recommend this restaurant

Very good local spot! Great service. We had brunch. Eggs Benedict fantastic! Great location! Would go back! Enjoyed it!
