Moe's Deli Grocery - Union City

I am a long time customer and I appreciate having a place in the neighborhood , but my biggest issue is how they will overcharge you in the deli. I bought some chicken cutlets and only wanted 1, but they said “that’s gonna be hard” and they sold me 4 LOL. Then the receipts they give are impossible to decipher. Obviously they are pressured by management to overcharge and sell hot foods- a shame because they’re losing business over these shady tactics.

I order Moe's from Uber eats since I moved here from Florida in early 2022 because my husband used to order from here a lot... I love this place. they NEVER disappoint!! Always fresh and warm. And they follow directions on the app, and they call if they don't have something available. I highly recommend it.

I walked in and I walked right out. The place had such a stench of dirty frying oil and chicken fat. It permeates the entire store. That's never a good sign. If you walk into any grocery store that serves cooked items from a breakfast/lunch menu and it smells like that, I was taught to leave. When I've taken a chance in the past, it always leads to a stomach ache!

Solid Deli with a hits-the-spot+ooo-yeah-baby, fantastic pastrami reuben on rye. Nice and juicy, oily, melted, and toasted just right.
