Lucky I had their hot sauce to my taste buds. Their sautéed shrimp with scrambled egg on rice noodles is one of my kid’s favourites… it’s now one of mine too. This was very well done and the were fantastic. Beautifully seasoned and they were quite big too. Overall a solid and enjoyable meal.
Popped in for dinner and had a very good fried pork chop with tomato sauce on rice. Very inexpensive and good Hong Kong comfort food. Keep in mind, they won't accept credit or debit for purchases under 20. Very much enjoyed my food, will return again. NB Street parking (metered) is available but is free if you're willing to walk further away.
We had 3 breakfast sets 2 porridge and 1 french toast. Each set comes with a side and we chose 2 XO style cheong fun and 1 noodle soup with fish cake. Was truly what I would find in Hong Kong. The price was reasonable and the portion was generous.
Comfortable atmosphere, very good menus. Great hkg coffee/milk tea, lemon iced tea (syrup on the side) just in in case... I love their Chow Mein crispy noodles on exterior, soften the interior( two sided crispy)translated as Leungmein Wong, Fried Gloucester rice (x spicy). Cilantro Minced beef vermicelli soup or their clear soup sliced beef brisket egg noodle soup. These are my all time favs. Meter parking on both sides of cambie or any side street. Yummy. Must try if visiting Vancouver. Enjoy, highly recommended
I was feeling under the weather and the braised duck leg with rice in soup was perfect. I was happy it was just hot, not piping hot so I could eat it right away. The pork cutlet baked in tomato sauce was very good as well. Quick meal, in and out in an hour. Good service. Out finished dishes were taken away right away and our tea refilled without asking. It was fairly busy on a weeknight dinner hour.
