Despite ordering a simple salad and two pre-made desserts, we experienced a long wait for our food. Surprisingly, the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, so we expected quicker service. Unfortunately, my salad was disappointing, consisting only of grated apple, carrot, and a few cashews. I hope the rest of the vegan menu offers more satisfying options than the one I tried.
The restaurant is located in the Round Tower and has a rich history, which seems to be its main selling point. Despite there being few customers when we arrived, we still had to wait a long time for our order, which consisted of a salad and two pre-made desserts. My salad was disappointingly simple, consisting only of grated apple and carrot with a few cashews on top. The quality of the food did not match the long wait. I have not tried the rest of the vegan menu, so I hope there are better dishes available than what I experienced.
This restaurant, located in a tower, is decorated with a beautiful star. The menu offers a variety of interesting dishes, but unfortunately not all of them are appetizing. I ordered a salad with chicken breast, which was extremely dry and old, topped with dressing that tasted like it was made with old oil. I also tried a pork steak with cherry sauce, but not even the sauce could save the bland dish. The staff seemed indifferent to customer satisfaction, not bothering to ask about the quality of the food. The waiters only seem concerned with taking orders. Overall, the prices for these mediocre dishes were outrageously high. If you visit this restaurant, be prepared to leave unimpressed and hungry for more.
The menu at this restaurant is stunning and reasonably priced, and the interior is beautiful. The recent removal of the red tablecloths is an added bonus.
Initially, the lunch seemed slightly overpriced as we anticipated paying a little more for the lovely surroundings. The soup was decent, but the pork and chips appeared and tasted as though they had been hastily reheated in a microwave. The service was courteous but slow, and it was necessary for me to personally seek out our waiter as he seemed to be oblivious to our requests for the check. The charming details in the historical building kept us in high spirits, but the experience could have been greatly improved by serving even mediocre food at a quicker pace, making the visit more worthwhile.
