I am from Puerto Rico and this restaurant serves an outstanding representation of traditional Puerto Rican cuisine.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, with authentic Puerto Rican dishes.
Seveche was incredible and so the pan was roasted Calamari with mushrooms. The duck of the pan meerrot rock fish was well cooked, but it lacked imagination, it needed something to take it to the next level. Dessert from iceless custard, coconut and pineapple was a dream delivered on all fronts,
I'll keep this short. I took a friend to Mio for her birthday. The food was all very good, we had: tostones (fried plantains , arepitas (cheese filled savory fried dough with black beans and slaw, salmon, and pork tenderloin. And for dessert we had Puerto Rican coffee (delicious! and guava cheesecake (also delicious! . The service was amazing and they were even nice enough to take a few pictures for us to commemorate the evening. Definitely would recommend anyone visit Mio for a simple, elegant, and well-seasoned dining experience!
