Docks Grill - Wauconda

I really enjoyed the ability to customize my burger or patty melt at this restaurant! The beef was fantastic and I would definitely return. I also heard that the Cole slaw and turkey sandwich were delicious. The French onion soup had a subtle herbal taste rather than a strong onion flavor.

Went for dinner last night, never had been before. Beautiful bar, super friendly bartender and the salads were OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. We had the strawberry/sugared pecan salad and the southwest salads and they DID NOT disappoint! Large portions. Strawberries were super fresh, best I have ever had. Nothing is cheap since covid, but well worth it to stop here eat!!

Nice relaxing place. Lunch was great. Thick, cool and fresh. Service was what you would expect. Attentive but not pushy. Good background music. Looking to forward to coming back some evening or weekend night!

Today was my second time coming here and my husband's first time. I remembered this place fondly from the first time I visited last year. I had a great time that summer evening with my group of friends. Today my husband and I came in during lunch hours, and were seated promptly outside on the deck area. We ordered our food and even though it took a while for the food to get to us we didn't mind. We were enjoying the ambience, being by the water and enjoying each other's company. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, the food was good, the staff was friendly and accommodating. This place is very clean, organized and the restrooms are so fancy. I want to return soon for drinks and maybe another time come back and bring my puppy to the outside deck area.

Overall experience was great. We got seated for lunch almost immediately. Our waitress took our order and brought our drinks right away. I had a burger with a fried egg, cheddar cheese, bacon lettuce and tomato. The quality was good and it was cooked medium how I asked. Our waitresses was not the friendliest or most attentive to our drink needs but overall still a good experience. Awesome view of Lake Bangs off the back deck.
