The couple that owns and operates the truck are super friendly their son even played on the beach with our son teaching him about jelly fish and the beach.Great view and food wonderful place to sit and enjoy the summer weather.
Always in the search worldwide for beer batter-dipped fish 'n chips. The Rising Tide dips in bread crumbs, but they were AWESOME! Fish was super fresh haddock and did not disappoint, scallops were juicy and fried just right. All dishes are served with a mound of hand cut french fries and cole slaw. Opens around noon. Located on the left side of the road (bayside), just after The Fireside Restaurant.
I recently visited Campbell Island for a three-day conference and found myself in need of a quick lunch option due to delays at the Canada-U.S. Customs bridge near Lubec, Maine. Luckily, I stumbled upon a charming roadside takeout spot at Friar's Bay. The menu offered a variety of affordable options, including a generously-sized fish and chips dish for $15, a delicious lobster quesadilla for $9, and a fresh-caught haddock fish burger plate for $9. The view from the spot was serene, with lobster boats in the distance and the occasional sighting of dolphins and whales. If you find yourself in need of a meal on Campbell Island, I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. You won't be disappointed.
The stunning view from the deck, or from inside by the windows on cooler days, is enough of a reason to visit Harbour Front and enjoy watching the sunset over the Bay.
