I just admitted for a quick drink while I was on the way somewhere so I can not really say much about the place, but the staff was friendly, it looks nice inside, but unfortunately the small smoker zone, although it had some seats, it was in an area surrounded by traffic. but I can't complain, because what else is expected from a pub called the cross, as the name says, is of course a cross! and if this pub wasn't at the crossroads, I couldn't have run it past the first place, and I wouldn't have drunk here.
Very friendly staff and well located hotel. the bed was a bit hard and we had to wait for the people to drink before we sleep. fortunately, that was not too late. good value however got money.
My son and I were on Saturday and Sunday on 23 and 24 april in junction. we were greeted by the renter and showed our room. he immediately apologized for the larch of the mozen, football was on TV. we had booked a table and were shown in a much quieter corner. our meal was good, not the best we ever had, but certainly very far from the worst. the big part, to stay overnight, especially if you need an early start, is the very loud noise of mozens sitting outside the back door to the pub, in the parking space and right in front of the rooms that are in the old stable block. I think it's gonna have to talk. the rooms are clean, but tired, need some updating and some total we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the junction in any case.
Brilliant meals and staff are beautiful and friendly huge menu. the toilets are however terribly broken toilet seat and not very clean. the hand dryer did not work, and a worker informed me that they had to push dryer to work it. but the restaurant part itself is great as our meals.
