Mentor welcomes all of his guests with enthusiasm and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.The views and the extensive property with access to water are stunning. The waterfront location and grounds are amazing, however the Queen mattress was HORRIBLE!!, not ideal for 2 people, very uncomfortable and sunk in the middle. After all the hiking in Tobermory we were hoping to get a good night's rest, which didn't happen. We have slept in Motels with better Mattresses. Also the room was not cleaned in the 2 days we stayed. No designated parking spot.

Wonderful stay. Review of Waterview on The Bay Pending review We stayed at the water view for a weekend and the property was so beautiful, It had a nice small beach. I travelled with my 2 daughters and stayed in the honeymoon suite which was the last room available and it was very spacious but the tub was in the room which i wasn't crazy about but it was fine since it was 3 females. The rooms could use some updating but we didn't spend much time in the room since we used it as a home base since we spent a day in tobermory and a day at sauble beach. At night we sat around a fire pit and roasted marshmallows which was very nice. The new owner Mentor was very nice and very helpful. He said he was hoping to renovate the property. This place has so much potential!

This is a very clean and friendly establishment. Close to everything, travel time at most is 1 hour to farthest attractions. Have loved coming to this place for over 15 years. Love the area. Have recommended this place to family and friends. It is dog friendly and have brought mine 4 times over the years. The extra cost I think is reasonable.

Right from the start everything was very well done. Reservation made 10 days in advance and luckily we were able to get a room. We even managed to get one with a 2 person jacuzzi on the deck. We didn't get a chance to explore the entire site as we arrived later than expected but what a gorgeous place! Mentor was very accommodating and the process was so easy. When given the chance, we would definitely stay there again, it was a beautiful place to enjoy our anniversary.
