Contribuisci feedbackNice Chinese food! I am from Hong Kong and the foods make me feel like home! Especially the Hong Kong style clay pot rice, it's unique at Perth! The set also come with a homemade soup! The boss is nice and friendly, he gave great suggestion for food order.
Have read some of the old reviews but it's all not true. <br/ Agree it's new owner but love the new dishes,<br/ Since he took over last year there's lots of new dishes which we can't find in Perth.<br/ Good thing that I tried it myself with friends and families and all of us love it.<br/ We went there tonight there's was a pot of soup new menu) placed outside the shop to let us try, which we can't find this in Perth.<br/ There's claypot rice being cooked directly on the stove, not where some places it just add cooked rice and top with cooked meat. But with this dish you just have to be patient to wait it might take about half an hour to be serve.<br/ If you love fried fish, fried flounder with chillies, garlic and salt its so good and cheap.<br/ Mr Li is very nice and accommodating he always happy to have feedback from customers so he can improve.<br/ Price reasonable too.<br/ Keep Up The Good Cooking Mr Li.<br/
We were surprised with quality of food, very traditional Chinese dinner place. Went there with friends and family, enjoyed the meal. Certainty go again and try other dishes.
15 years ago I used to dine there and it was OK, nothin out of ordinary. But I recently went back and had a few dishes there. OMG it jogged back my memories of eating in CHina town with friends 18 years ago. The peking spareribs with sala sauce opened my appetite as one of the most tastiest Peking ribs in Perth. It's crunchy and fit on well with many bowls of rice. Mr Lee was also accommodating as I told him I had a condition and that MSG will screw my heart rate and dries my body out if I had too much and he cooked mine up with some MSG or even chicken stock.<br/ I see lots of people eating at the other places nearby but those places the food dont taste as good. But I guess people flock to groups and follow a crowd and miss out on gems like this one. I went in by pure chance and order a few simple dishes and it came out exceeding my expectation. Then I went back and order the same dish and tryi8ng a few of the more authentic chinese cuisine and the Chef came out and check to see who is the fussy fellow ands we had a chat. If I let him know in advance he can make some of the hardest and rarest chinese dishes. Of course it will be quite pricey, lol.....But I do enjoy dining there and the chef Mr Lee has good experience. The food is good and service is OK and it is priced just right. Great Restaurant, Hopefully people knows how to appreciate great things
4/5. You have to know what to order when you come here. just because the menu says 'chef recommendation ' doesn 't mean you 'll get what you want. this is my favourite spot to eat in china town, however, because it 's not too busy and the food is always served deliciously. maybe because whenever i come here, i don 't really change the menu, but i know it 's nice and filling.<br/ <br/ what you should try: chilli pepper squid, sambal kangkong, kang pao chicken, deep fried bun, japanese sizzling tofu, crispy chicken skin in vinegar sauce, chicken in sambal sauce. i like everything that has chilli on it, which would be why i tend to get something with strong flavours. ask for a chilli oil $2 adds on) and just dip it in to your rice, yep... that 's just how you want it.<br/ <br/ my friend introduced this place to me 5 years ago and i 've been a loyal customer ever since. as the price is considered pricey, this is a place you can go when you have a craving for chinese food and you 're around the area. between the two of us, i usually spend approximately $30-$35 in total.<br/ <br/ the food comes real quick but don 't worry, it 's not microwaved. i think they just cook very fast in the kitchen.<br/ <br/ why 4 out of 5? from at least 6-7 pages of menu, you will order something that sounds delicious but tastes bland. i had this experience and that 's why you gotta know what to order before you make that decision.
