Don Julio's (wimauma)

I absolutely love this restaurant. I have ridden my motorcycle past it a few times and finally decided to give it a try. It's a beautiful little Mexican restaurant situated on the street with outdoor seating. I felt like I was transported to Mexico, even though I have never been there before. The girl who took my order at the window spoke English, which was helpful. The food I ordered was absolutely fantastic, although I can't remember the names as they were not in English. But who cares, because it was delicious. The lemonade drink was also excellent. They have a picture menu displayed on the window, making it easy to choose what to order. I will definitely be coming back here. There isn't traditional table service, but that's okay because they clean up after themselves.

Taqueria Don Julio's is highly praised for serving authentic Mexican cuisine. The portions are large and the owners are very helpful in explaining the menu, despite most signs being in Spanish. Customers can dine outside at tables, but alcohol is not available. This restaurant comes highly recommended for those who enjoy authentic Mexican food and don't require a fancy atmosphere. Be sure to give it a try!

Wonderful little roadside spot. Fresh ingredients fresh made tortillas. Bean and potato tacos hit the spot.

Enjoyed a huge steak burrito on my first visit to Don Julio's. It was HUGE, tasty and very fresh. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were crisp even after being wrapped in a hot burrito. The building is not impressive from curbside. But while at the window I checked out the inside and it's very clean. The ladies working there were constantly cleaning as they worked to prepare food. I was impressed. Will definitely go back!
