Gouda And Grill - Wooster

We were a bit hesitant to try Gouda because there are so many other fantastic dining options in Wooster, and we weren't sure if it would live up to places like The Melt. However, we were pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. The restaurant itself is elegant and modern. The food was not as heavy as The Melt (you won't feel like you need a nap after a sandwich) and the flavors were unique and fresh. My wife and I each ordered a different sandwich and ended up swapping halfway through because they were both so delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and we will definitely be returning.

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at this restaurant. We started with the buffalo dip appetizer and ordered the gouda mac and cheeseburger with fries. The burger was delicious and I would definitely order it again. The mac and cheese was the standout, the fries were hot and crispy. My friend enjoyed her meal as well, although she wasn't a fan of the buffalo dip as it was a bit dry and made with dark meat, whereas she prefers white meat. The service was good and the restaurant was very busy but clean. One small issue we noticed was that some patrons were seated at tables that were too small for their parties, leading to long waits and frustration for some. Overall, a great meal and I'm sure the hostess will work out the seating kinks in time.

We were promptly seated and greeted at the restaurant. We decided to check out the bar and ordered chips, queso, guacamole, the brunch taco, the tropical taco, and the steak burrito. Our favorite was the tropical taco, but everything was delicious. I also tried the paloma and the margarita. I might skip the margarita next time, but the paloma was fantastic!

The food was fresh, fast, and delicious, and my mule was thirsty. my sister had the house margarita and loved it.Service was attentive and friendly. . when we decided to sit on the bar... plan to come back soon!
