Consider me an authority. If you've never had Polish meats, THIS is the real deal. Check out the rest of the shops on the street too; everything there is fantastic.
Went to Golemo's today. Picked up imported items from Poland. My main reason for going is their deli meats. They're as good as they get. The young woman at the deli is assume. She explained the different sausages and gave samples of ones she thought I'd like
We took our 1/2 Polish-1/2 American grandchild to the Golemo's Market. Her Mom felt like she was back home for a moment, and we enjoyed seeing our grand-toddler respond to staff and customers speaking in her native language. A great store and great experience for the sheltered grand dad! Thanks, Golemo's
02/06/2021 I am so happy I'd recently discovered this place. Apologies to the locals for taking up so many parking places while I was shopping. This is NO street for a tractor/trailer but oh, the challenge of maneuvering through the neighborhood was worth it. I'd spent close to $100 at this store. Already, after trying some of the wares am delighted to tell you that you will not waste your money. This stuff is GOLD! The smoked sausage is so good, you'll want to eat every morsel as slow as possible. I also found really nice syrups from Poland, Sauerkraut and jellies and jams. They have the largest selection of canned sardines and other fish I've EVER seen. And then there is the Lithuanian bread I've been looking for for years. Well, if you're planning on checking this street out, and you happen to be driving a big truck, arrive at 7:50 am on a Saturday.
The store was very busy and rightly so. They have a very high-end Polish deli with a very large variety of excellent products. It may take some time to get waited on. The workers speak Polish.
