Wokstar - Worcester

We’ve ordered from this Chinese through a couple of different companies (Just Eat and Uber Eats) on a Saturday night, the food is always late 2hours late and takes multiple phone calls to chase it up. This time week we’re offered 15% off next order but we won’t be using Wokstar again.

Ordered a delivery tonight through just eat. We have previously had poor experience and told to order direct but to be honest that was no better. Thought we’d give it another go tonight but even worse. Ordered at 7, after chasing it up a number of times, it eventually got delivered at 9pm (and 45 minutes after they told me it was out for delivery). It was warm, food average(not brilliant) but at 9 pm I just didn’t want it anymore and most ended up in the bin. Delivery driver should at least carry some complimentary prawn crackers to placate annoyed customers a little. Won’t be ordering again after years of doing so! Wokstar if it’s going to be 2 hrs make this clear at time of ordering, don’t lull people into making an order expecting it to take an hour for it then to be delayed by an hour.! If your busy, stop taking orders!

Rude, unhelpful, dismissive. Didn’t end up ordering. Have used many times before, food has been good before, but not worth tolerating the bad manners at the counter. There are many other takeaways in Worcester. I won’t order from here again

I really don't understand the negative reviews! The majority of them seem to be mistakes from the delivery companies! The food at this restaurant is consistently fantastic. My only suggestion would be to include some complimentary prawn crackers for loyal customers.

Wokstar gets my vote and in a city with many Chinese restaurants and takeaways to choose from is no mean feat. I always pick up as this takes about 15-20 minutes instead of crazy long delivery times. Don’t be blinded by dissatisfaction in delivery times. This is seriously good Asian food.
