China Wok - York

I was disappointed when my usual takeout place was closed, so I decided to order from China Wok. The service was excellent, but I was not impressed with the chicken. Reformed chicken should not be used in a takeaway, as it is not appetizing. It took me some time to figure out what it was. I suggest using real chicken instead to keep your customers happy.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant. The food was good, with plenty of rice, but the tub of sweet and sour sauce was only filled halfway, so the portion was short. Good thing I also ordered chips.

Last night, we made the mistake of ordering starters at this restaurant. The mixed starter was disappointing, with very little meat on the bone, dried up prawn toast, and a dry crab claw that seemed like scraps from a waste bin. I had a great experience at Happy Wok a couple of years ago before it closed temporarily, but this time was a letdown. We thought ordering one main dish along with the starters would be enough, but it never came. In the end, we wasted over £20.

Thankyou very much as always ..lovely food but.not sure iff tonight .maybe you had forgot to put the sugar in the seaweed .ummmm exceptionally salty

Ordered a takeaway, very polite nice phone service, quick delivery and tasty food. Glad we weren’t put off by the pretty poor reviews.
