Both my wife and I had bacon keeseburgers and they were very, very good and the chips and wobbles with which they came were like the burger, Top-Notch. will return for our steak dat night. Five.

We like a Carvery, we really do, this is a little gem of a place, lovely fresh veg and the roast beef was cooked to perfection and my lord the beef covered the plate, not a paper thin slice you get at SOME well known Carverys. They serve from 12 till 4pm if you think you wont make it then call them and they will plate your meat up. Service is brilliant, a real little gem of a place, has to be the BEST Carvery in York.

Really enjoyed Sunday afternoon at this pub, lovely beer garden, nice weather, carvery is lovely and good value. Helpful friendly staff.

Went with family on Saturday. Great B&Q. Staff very good and friendly. Beer garden a perfect place to have a drink in the sunshine. Excellent pub.

We went yesterday for the carvery couldn’t fault it. It was lovely the beef was a bit **** for me so had the pork. It was lovely cooked good. Will definitely go back.
