Beautiful carvery, plenty of food and tasty! All 8 of us couldn’t fault the food and service. Lovely atmosphere too. Will be returning.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff at this restaurant were excellent and extremely attentive. And then there's the food - WOW. Every dish was piping hot and delicious. The braised red cabbage was particularly outstanding - I could have eaten a whole bowl of it on its own. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a fabulous dining experience.

We stopped in for a coffee as we were passing by, but unfortunately they only had instant coffee available as the coffee machine was not working. We ended up having a soft drink instead. I found a place to sit on a vacant sofa, but was informed by a woman sitting across from me that the seat was taken. I moved and tried to find another spot to sit, but all the tables had reserved signs on them. Eventually, I found a small space by the fireplace. It was Sunday afternoon and I noticed several couples asking for the Carvery, which was supposed to be served until 4:00 PM. However, they were informed that they could not have it as it had been pre-booked by other customers. I did not have any food so I cannot comment on the quality, but I recommend making a reservation if you plan on having the Carvery.

I had the chance to try their menu and opted for the surf and turf. It was absolutely delicious - a 10oz steak served with onion rings, battered prawns, and real, well-cooked chips, along with a dip/sauce. The portion size was generous and the dish blew me away with how good it tasted. If you are looking for a great place to stay or delicious food, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
