Tasty House - York

I went to order a meal, but it quickly became apparent that the rude man behind the counter was being aggressive. He started arguing with me within 10 seconds, shouting and swearing, dictating what I could and couldn't have. Even after managing to order close to what I wanted, he followed me out into the street, shouting abuse and threatening me face to face. As a 61 year old man, I didn't deserve this treatment. I demanded my money back and refused to take his food. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had, truly threatening and frightening. I will never return to this restaurant, despite being a loyal customer for years. The service was simply horrible.

Rude man, won’t let you finish what you have to say he just talks over you, Ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips The chicken was over cooked and didn’t taste nice at all and the chips was like rubber

Bog standard takeaway-snotty rude fella couldn't give a toss about **** meal ordered before, been a few times, am local but won't go again, plenty better in York that deliver.

Best Chinese takeaway in York by a mile! Food is absolutely beautiful and full of flavour. Portions are huge too. We travel a few miles each way to use this takeaway and have done for a few years.

Been eating food from here for some time. Had a break and recently went back. I think this is the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Fresh tasting and large portions!
