Wow, wow wow. We’re visiting York and checked Google reviews because we fancied a carvery. This place was just amazing. Really friendly staff and oh my God, the food was everything you could ever want on a plate! This is a pub with a great family run feel, food homemade and staff helpful. Decor is a bit dated, but it adds to the charm. it's like pubs used to be. Local pub with friendly locals. Lovely beer garden and dog friendly. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pie and Peas
